Some Potential Help With Keyword Optimization

I like to think that the best advice comes from those who do (or have done) what I am trying to succeed. I have went on a search for SEO advice related to keywords and I found multiple blog posts from what I believe are credible sources. There are some gems of knowledge throughout each link to help acquire whatever effects are needed. Rather than post each article I thought I'd share how I found some of the specific information I was looking for. As well as what that information was.

I'm a beginner at web anything. I have some knowledge to work around things, but not enough knowledge to consider me "good" at web design/promotion in any regard. Which is why I'm trying to learn.

I want to learn about keyword optimization. So I first went to a few search engines and did some searches for "seo optimization", and "keyword optimization" and other related terms.
After I found some sites that appeared to have a good reputation by reading articles and comments I chose to search their blog. I did a search for "keyword" specifically to narrow the results to what these sources had to say on the topic. However the term can be changed to whatever need for a list of advice on that topic of SEO.
